Tutorial for using the online samples submission form

1. Go to http://www.genome.uci.edu/DNAcore/sub_samples/Core_userLogin.asp
2. Enter your USER NAME and PASSWORD

3. If you see a third field for DOMAIN, please enter TELSERV
4. If you do not see the third field for DOMAIN, please enter TELSERV\ in front of your username in the User Name field
5. Hit OK
6. You will now enter the Sequencing Core user menu

  • Choose 1 for sample submission
  • Choose 2 to view the status of all submitted samples
  • Choose 3 to go to your folder (this option requires Internet Explorer 5.5 or better)
  • Press LOGOUT to exit

    • IMPORTANT!!!!!

    When you submit your samples, please be sure to read the instructions.
    A copy of the instructions is listed below:

    Please enter one sample per line
    Maximum number of characters for each sample name is 8
    All other forms of delimiters (comma, tab, space)
    will be replaced by underscore( _ )

    Good Examples:
    Sample1
    Smaple2
    Sample3

    Bad Examples:
    Sample1, sample2, sample3
    or
    Sample1 Sample2 Sample3
